Drivers School & Race

Start racing safely with Midwestern Council On-track Driver Schools (mandatory for Wheel-to-Wheel drivers, optional but recommended for Autocross participants). Schools are held throughout the year at Blackhawk Farms Raceway. Qualified Instructors will help you get on the fast track quickly, because in most cases, instruction is on a one-to-one basis. Safety and car control are stressed throughout. Graduates consistently rate our competition driving schools as the best value for the money even compared to the big-buck, big-name schools.

To enter Driver School (or competition events) you must be at least 18 years of age and hold a valid state drivers license. A written test and medical exam are also required for wheel-to-wheel competitors. Successful completion of the wheel-to wheel portion of Driver School earns you a Midwestern Council Novice Competition License.

Follow the steps detailed in the attached driver school packet, and your Driver's School with Midwestern Council will be more enjoyable and successful. We want this to be a fun and exciting experience that you will remember for a lifetime of racing.
